Built Gloo's Alignment Management System under the guidance of a veteran CEO. Established strategic direction with structured frameworks, created resource and financial models to support it, and designed the full communication and accountability infrastructure: standing meeting cadences, standard agenda templates, and documentation standards for cross-executive communication.
Built Nymbl's Business Operating System from the ground up as CSO. Set company-wide initiatives, tracked department OKRs, designed the operating cadence including standing meetings and communication assets, and created standard documentation templates used across the executive team and departments — the internal operating model that ran alongside PADRE.
Created the majority of board presentation decks and supporting financial models for the CEO to present to Gloo's board. Owned the narrative structure, data packaging, and executive framing of board-level communications. Gloo is now a publicly traded company.
Led an advisory offering helping Nymbl clients pitch solutions to investors to secure funding, including building product direction decks designed to generate investor interest. Also created Nymbl's quarterly executive review materials for the leadership team.
Assembled and led a cross-functional team at Nymbl to define and structure the company's AI offering — coordinating across engineering, delivery, and advisory functions under urgency and without a standing team structure.
Designed operating structures that improved organizational effectiveness at Gloo (under veteran CEO mentorship) and built the same from scratch at Nymbl as CSO — redesigning how decisions were made, how accountability was tracked, and how the executive team communicated across functions.
As part of Nymbl's executive team, participated in annual planning involving compensation, personnel decisions, strategic direction, confidential client relationships, and partner relationships not disclosed beyond the executive team. Handled sensitive information with appropriate discretion as a standard function of the CSO role.
Wrote the board decks and all-company presentation decks the CEO presented at Gloo, including periodic all-company status reports.
Spoke directly with reporters and press to communicate Gloo's vision and company status.
Built dashboards tracking metrics across Nymbl's marketing funnels, partnering with the Head of Marketing to define the right metrics to track.
Managed 6 direct reports at Nymbl — owned performance reviews, career development plans, and compensation conversations; led termination conversations when necessary for direct reports or their reports.
Set and managed the Advisory Board's meetings, and designed the meeting structures used across the rest of the company.
At Nymbl, created best practices for the delivery team and coached them on how to execute the solution designs (architecture) handed off from the Solutions Engineering / pre-sales motion.
At Gloo, coached the product team on how to run the company's Enterprise Architecture in connection with core organizational strategy.
Architected/delivered client integrations involving Salesforce, Dynamics CRM, and ServiceNow at Nymbl.
Core discovery step on nearly every Nymbl engagement: mapped how clients actually deliver value across their value streams — often how the client delivers value to their own clients — using a mix of data-driven analysis (event logs/system data) and manual discovery (interviews, workshops, documentation) to reconstruct actual process flows before architecting the solution. This was the foundational method underneath the entire PADRE motion and every solution design, not a peripheral technique.
Owned a tracked Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) number for Nymbl's Advisory offerings line (Technology Assessments, Product-Market Fit assessments, and Analysis of Alternatives) — accountable for the metric in leadership and revenue reviews, not just delivery of the offerings themselves.
Personally ran product demonstrations for all Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) during Enterprise Sales cycles at Nymbl, serving as the hands-on technical presenter across the pre-sales motion.
Participated in a formal partner/channel program with Retool and Moveworks, including certifications and joint pipeline tracking, in which partners sourced qualified leads and Blair ran point on closing them.
Served as the scoping and estimation point of contact for large enterprise accounts once handed off from sales to delivery, bridging the pre-sales-to-delivery seam for Nymbl's biggest engagements.
Architected integrations with Twilio for telephony and messaging infrastructure at Gloo.
Implemented Moveworks (now owned by ServiceNow) as a customer-facing conversational AI bot handling client-facing interactions at Nymbl.
Owned the end-to-end Solutions Engineering hiring process at Nymbl; built the repeatable onboarding process, assets, and KPIs new SEs were ramped and tracked against; ran all recurring check-ins and career growth conversations for the SE team.
Assigned Solutions Engineers to strategic accounts based on individual skill level and availability, balancing coverage and capacity across the team.
Replaced an ad hoc pre-sales process (analysts running an intake call and improvising an estimate on the spot) with a multi-stage AI workflow built on the ChatGPT API, wired into a custom interface that tracks each stage and pulls in a human validation checkpoint before the output becomes context for the next stage. Broke intake, proposal drafting, and estimation into discrete stages rather than a single prompt after finding that one-shot generation caused the model to lose track of details. Trained the Solutions Engineering team on the motion, giving Nymbl a repeatable process that increased deal volume, close rate, and forecast predictability.
Architected and owned delivery of a course peer review certification system for an education-sector client (Quality Matters), leading a 5-person team over a two-year engagement. The client's primary stakeholder acted as a gatekeeper, routing all requirements through her own filter before they reached other internal stakeholders, which produced wrong requirements early on and extended the project. Resolved this by introducing shared requirements documentation with an explicit sign-off gate before any work moved into build. The stakeholder did not resist the change; the team began receiving sign-off from her core stakeholders after handoff instead of rework, and the sign-off discipline became standard practice on subsequent engagements.
Owned architecture and requirements gathering, then oversaw delivery and implementation, for a full replacement of a client's low-code data-import pipeline with a custom-built AWS system (Fargate, SQS, S3, RDS) supporting their largest Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. The data feeds court filings directly, so migration risk carried real legal consequences, not just downtime. De-risked the cutover by running the new system in parallel with the old one and rolling it out in phases rather than switching all cases over at once; the client's own stakeholder made the final cutover call after validating the new system held parity with the old one.
Owned SEO for client websites alongside design and development delivery at Starkmedia — on-page optimization and content structure — for small-business clients under agency deadlines.
Implemented and administered Gloo's HubSpot instance, building and publishing pages, forms, and marketing automation workflows, alongside enterprise architecture modernization work.
Runs SEO strategy and execution for advisory clients and Oso Group's own web presence, covering keyword strategy, on-page and technical optimization, and content structure.
Extended the same multi-stage, human-in-the-loop AI intake pattern built at Nymbl (Pitch to Close) to Oso Group's client work, now producing different output assets as part of a new Business Operating System framework being implemented with clients.
After enterprise solutions were sold at Nymbl, remained engaged as Strategy Partner and strategic architecture stakeholder throughout implementation, validating delivery-level requirements and user stories against the approved solution architecture and evolving the living architecture as implementation requirements changed.
At Nymbl, architected the broader future-state solution during pre-sales and structured customer recommendations into three-phase, approximately 18-month roadmaps. Ran advisory engagements that produced recommendations and executive-facing assets internal champions could use to secure approval for subsequent initiatives.
Built several test implementations in Airtable while evaluating the platform for client use cases at Nymbl, assessing how the platform could support relational business-system and workflow requirements.
Designed normalized relational data models for nearly every client solution architected at Nymbl and created Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) as a standard architecture deliverable passed to engineering and delivery teams during solution handoff.
Used ClickUp extensively across Nymbl client delivery and designed the project organization structure used to manage project work, creating a consistent operating model for how teams organized and executed client engagements.
At Starkmedia, integrated PayPal and Authorize.net into customer websites; later, while freelancing, built single-product photography ecommerce sites using Stripe.
Used Postman across freelance, Nymbl, and Oso Group to validate APIs and troubleshoot integrations in custom applications and low-code environments, including API work supporting Moveworks and n8n AI agents.
Worked across a distributed Nymbl organization with team members in Germany, Portugal, and India and supported customers in Australia and Europe.
Strategy and platform architecture work at Gloo directly influenced product roadmap direction and sequencing.
Advisory and presales work influenced customers' internal technology roadmaps and investment sequencing. For example, an Analysis of Alternatives around commission-tracking software informed whether a client should buy or build the capability and when it should be implemented.
Worked with several financial-services organizations on solutions centered on asset-management data, operational workflows, and supporting system architecture. For a banking client, conducted a deeper analysis of digital payments and how payment adoption was evolving in Canada to inform the client's solution context and technology direction.
Represented Gloo at multiple education-technology conferences, demonstrating and explaining the platform to attendees. At Nymbl, attended a tolling-industry conference alongside a partner to support new-project discussions and represent the technical side of proposed tolling solutions.
At Gloo, created a centralized knowledge center documenting platform functionality and connecting individual capabilities back to company strategy, creating a coherent repository for understanding how the platform fit together. At Nymbl, helped structure and maintain internal knowledge repositories for partner platforms so teams could understand partner capabilities and use them during solution design and customer engagements.
At both Gloo and Nymbl, helped define KPIs for initiatives and departmental goals and participated in quarterly reviews evaluating performance, progress, and outcomes against those measures.
At Nymbl, participated in annual executive portfolio-planning sessions where leadership decided which initiatives and offerings to invest in, scale, continue, pause, or retire, with lighter-weight reviews occurring quarterly. One example was discontinuing the Webflow offering after customer demand failed to materialize.
At Nymbl, maintained visibility across multiple internal initiatives intended to advance the company's AI offerings, tracking project status, priorities, risks, and intended outcomes so leadership could understand the state of the AI portfolio and make prioritization decisions.
As Nymbl Chief Strategy Officer, participated in executive governance and decision-making involving Finance and Legal, including annual planning and investment decisions, organizational structure and equity discussions, and SOC 2 implementation where financial, legal, security, and compliance considerations informed risk and investment choices.
At Gloo and Nymbl, formally partnered with HR/People on employee engagement and organizational-health efforts, including employee surveys and pulse checks, team-health initiatives, organizational design, offsites, internal communications, retention, and culture programs.
At Gloo, participated in directing departments and teams with management responsibility spanning resource allocation, budgets, functional planning, and accountability for execution, extending the Enterprise Architect role beyond architecture into broader business and operational management.
Early in Nymbl's growth, carried delivery-function responsibility before dedicated leadership existed, then intentionally transitioned that responsibility once a specialist leader was hired as the organization matured.
As a senior executive partner to Nymbl's CEO, advised and pushed back on consequential operating decisions including discretionary spending such as a proposed sports sponsorship, hiring decisions across departments, company equity structure, and employee evaluation practices.
Directly owned assigned departments while participating in operating decisions across the broader organization, combining functional accountability with company-wide executive participation across adjacent functions.
Led discovery, architecture, and operating-model work primarily with non-engineering customer stakeholders, including stakeholders at a radiology organization at Nymbl and operators of in-person personal-growth programs at Gloo who needed to digitize their products and services.
Translated sold client solutions into engineering demand and delivery sequencing, balancing solution requirements, available engineering capacity, timing, and project dependencies to determine when work could be executed.
